October Update & Coming Activities


November 19th - Relief Society Workshops - 7pm - at the church. Choose one from the following three workshops:-
- Chocolate making and dipping - learn how.
- Gingerbread Houses. Recipe and pattern for a cute house can be found in the RS Binder.
- Quilt Tying for Blankets for Canada. There are still 2 or 3 that need to be finished up.
- Need to work on your Christmas Sewing Projects or mending? Sister Marcie Sommerfeldt will be available with any advice you need on your sewing
project.

Everyone who would like to take part in a Cookie Exchange? Bring 3 dozen of your most favorite company ready Christmas cookies for a Cookie Exchange.

November 25th - Book Group Meeting: 1:30pm
We will be finishing up Chapters 6 - 10 of Brad Wilcox's book -'The continuous Atonement'.
Please see the RS Bulletin Board for the place this will be held, or contact Patricia for more information. New sisters are always welcome.

Mom's & Tot's meets weekly at the church on Thursdays - 10:30 - 12 noon for fun and socializing. New sisters and their children are welcome to join. Please contact Shannon for more information or check the RS Bulletin Board.

October Super Saturday

Sheran Park Super Saturday will be held October 17, 10am - 3pm at the church.

Note: Please see displays in hall for more details about signing up for each class, supplies required and cost.

Classes:

1) Vinyl Lettering Prayer Stand

2) Wooden Family Home Evening Board

3) Wooden Nativity

4) Halloween Costume parade and class on face painting and inexpensive costume ideas - at 1pm only

5) Christmas Table Decorating - to be held at 11:00 only

6) Beginner Christmas Sewing class - lovely tree skirt; sisters provide own materials. Pattern will be provided.

7) Pompom Nativity Glove - kit will be provided

8) Animal sleeping bags

9) Holiday Appetizers demonstration - 2pm only

10) Family Photo/Recipe favourites scrapbook - bring own family recipes/family photos with corresponding favourite grandma's specialty recipe.
